Litchfield Newspapers --- now available on digital format
Local newspapers are available on microfilm from 1857. Papers vary from the Litchfield Daily Herald, Litchfield Monitor, Litchfield News-Herald, and Montgomery County News.
While a printer is available for the newspapers, a digital camera makes an even better record of the newspaper. Bring your camera with you to the Library, or use the camera on your phone. Either way, it's a great way to keep your research handy!

Litchfield Public Library District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Litchfield Public Library District
