After living overseas and having several interesting experiences, former Montgomery County resident Mike Meier is back.  On Thursday, May 12, starting at 6:30 pm, the Litchfield Public Library will host the author and speaker for a special presentation and book signing.

Titled “China:  How to Not Get Deported”, Mike’s lecture will cover the dangers of visiting the country, and what missionaries, tourists, or students need to know before they go.  He will showcase different photos and items from his memorable journey, as well as take questions from those whom attend.

After the presentation, Mike will be signing copies of his book, A FOCUSED PURSUIT in China:  14 Business Tips to Know Before You Go.  The book will be available for sale at the library the night of the event.

Mike Meier is the son of Earl and Carolyn Meier of Hillsboro.  He graduated Hillsboro High School in 2000 and worked in Beijing, China starting in 2009.
