Library Services
Celebrating a century of service, for you.
Circulation Services
Books, magazines and audio books can be checked out of the Library for two weeks. Items that do not have reserve lists may be renewed twice, for a total of six weeks. Fines on these items are 10 cents per item per day.
Videocassettes and DVDs are loaned out for one week and cannot be renewed. Fines on videos and DVDs are $2.00 per item per day.
Items requested via interlibrary loan are subject to a 25 cent per day fine. Only five interlibrary loan items may be ordered at one time. Interlibrary loan items cannot be renewed.
Reference Assistance
The Library offers basic reference service for its patrons. Questions may be submitted via telephone, email, or by coming into the Library for assistance.
The Library regrets it cannot accept genealogy reference questions over the telephone. All genealogy requests must be made in writing, and will be answered as staff time allows. See our link to the Library's Genealogy and Local History
Community Spaces in the Library
The Library offers two meeting spaces for the public. The Mary Wallace room seats nine people around an expansive board table. The Kathleen Youell Story Hour room can be set up for up to 20 people, located in our colorful children's library.
